Following hotel pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai City Area at 08:30 am by our English speaking guide, depart to Wat Chedi Luang. This temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one time, Wat Chedi Luang housed the revered Emerlad Buddha image now enshrined in Bangkoks Wat Phra Kaew. One of Wat Chedi Luangs most striking architectural features is a magnificent Naga staircase adorns the chapels front porch.
